If you haven’t already listened to “thank u, next,” you may need to pop your head out from that rock you’ve been living under. The famous Ariana Grande has released a new hit, which has taken this country by storm. “thank u, next” is Ariana’s first song to get to #1 on the billboard charts, and the song has 100 million streams on Spotify already, making it the fastest song to ever achieve this goal.

After her recent break up with Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson, Ariana released “thank u, next” to thank her ex-boyfriends for all that she has learned through her experiences dating them. What makes this the ultimate break up song is that Ariana does not bash or speak badly about any of her ex-boyfriends in this hit song, instead she sings about how she has grown from these relationships. “thank u, next” isn’t only about her breakups but about her own self-improvement.

While we all wait for her next album to drop, I think I’ll listen to “thank u, next” at least a billion more times. This song is a smash!
