The Top 10 Christmas Songs You Need to Add to Your Holiday Playlist

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UC Irvine chapter.

Now before you all come for me for making a Christmas music playlist before Thanksgiving, if Starbucks could release their new red and green holiday cups, Snapchat could release their new holiday filters and Mariah Carrey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You” started blaring from every shopping mall on November 1st, then I’m the least of your problems.

Christmas is not only a day, it’s a state of mind. While I kind of feel bad for looking over Thanksgiving, we can all just blame corporate America for always keeping us one holiday ahead. So if you’re also one of those people who is anxiously anticipating those jingle bells ringing, here are my favorite holiday songs to get you in the Christmas spirit:

1. “White Winter Hymnal” by Pentatonix

2. “Winter Song” by Leslie Odom Jr.

3. “Last Christmas” by Ariana Grande

4. “Underneath the Tree” by Kelly Clarkson

5. “Wonderful Christmas Time” by Demi Lovato

6. “One More Sleep” by Leona Lewis

7. “Baby It’s Cold Outside” by Idina Menzel and Michael Bublé

8. “Hallelujah” by Pentatonix

9. Carol of the Bells” by Destiny’s Child

10. “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” by John Legend and Esperanza Spalding
