Imagine: it’s Sunday morning, 9am has rolled around. You’ve just woken up. You’re either staying home this morning or getting ready for church. The TV is blasting your favorite cartoons, while you get ready or are eating breakfast. It’s a great time to be alive.

Everyone has their FAVORITE cartoons and TV shows as a kid. Here are a list of my favorite cartoons and TV shows as kid, to reminisce.

  1. Sailor Moon

This was one of my ALL TIME favorites as a kid. Her friends and her literally transformed into a superhero moon goddess that fought evil spirits trying to hurt everyone in her city. Can you say, BADASS WOMEN?!

2) Ed, Edd n Eddy

Now, I wouldn’t say that this was my favorite shows, but it was intriguing to say the least. It was one of those shows that you put on in the background but you got sucked into because it was so strange…

3) Powerpuff Girls

I always wanted to be Bubbles. She was so sweet, sleepy and I just loved her so much. I remember when I was a little girl, I won a Buttercup pillow from the claw machine at Golden Corral and had it for YEARS! The funny thing was that my parents wouldn’t even give me money for it, but there was some in the machine already. My parents were outside and I followed behind not too much later with the pillow.

4) Kim Possible

Now who doesn’t love Kim Possible? Every time I’m walking around campus, I can always hear someone with her beep ringtone! Iconic with her red hair (I’m biased, myself being one), her outfit, her amazing skills, and so much more!

There, are plenty more shows that I used to adore as a kid! Hannah Montana, The Fairly OddParents, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Rugrats, Courage The Cowardly Dog, Johnny Bravo, and so many more. It’s endless, how many shows that were out there that created the best childhood I could have. They taught me so many simple lessons about life.

Do you have your favorite childhood shows?
