Whew, it’s that time of the year to relieve yourself from the stress this semester has caused you! The Christmas Holiday is approaching and there’s no better way to relax than to binge watch Christmas movies to get you into the holiday spirit. These top 5 Christmas movies will be sure to put you in the holiday spirit.

1. “Elf”

This hilarious family film is the best way to get into the life of Santa’s favorite elf, Buddy. Buddy’s struggle to reunite with his family and live a normal life is an enjoyable Christmas adventure. With Buddy’s famous scene of his version of “breakfast pasta,” this holiday classic is a great way to find out if you’ve been naughty or nice.

2. “The Polar Express”

This classic Christmas movie showcases a trip to the North Pole like no other! The realistic graphics of this animated film will have you on the edge of your seat, or at least your Polar Express train seat. I hope you have your golden train ticket clutched because the adventure to North Pole will be no easy ride.

3. “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” 

 Recently the Grinch actually stole the internet with his expressive video that has been surfing around social media creating relatable situations. This film may be old but one thing the Grinch will also steal other than Christmas will be your view because whether if you will see it on Freeform or even watch the new 2018 “Grinch” movie, the Grinch will always be the greatest classic to watch for a nice laugh for your Christmas holiday.

4. “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” 

If you woke up one morning in your childhood to find out your family of many left you all alone while they went on a family vacation what would you do? We could all imagine watching this film that if being home alone was this much of an adventure we probably wouldn’t know what to do. This movie is one of the most humorous and adventurous movies to start off your Christmas holiday. You may not be home alone but watching this film will make you reconnect with your childhood and wish you were as you live through the eyes of young Kevin McCallister.

5. “The Holiday Calendar” 

Ending off this list off with a recent movie that could be added to your binge watching series that could be found on Netflix, this 2018 film is a great holiday romance to find someone to kiss under the mistletoe this year. Even if you’re not boo’d up this holiday season, this movie could put hope that one day you too will get a predictable calendar leading you to love.
