As 2018 comes to an end, it’s time to remember the best movies we were graced with in the year. Here are my top four favorite ones this year in no particular order.

  1. Avengers: Infinity War

C’mon, what’s better than all the avengers coming together yet again? This time, to fight the powerful and destructive Thanos. You don’t even have to be a Marvel fan to follow and instantly love this movie. The ending still got me in my feels.

    2. Black Panther

Yes, another Marvel movie but, this one was so important. Finally, a Marvel movie that depicts strong Black Men and Women. The story is powerful and intriguing that I got chills throughout with a few plot twists. Plus, it has Michael B. Jordan and Lupita Nyong’o which is such a win- win. It’s not too late to watch because it’s on Netflix!

3. Crazy Rich Asians

A movie with an all-Asian cast that celebrates Asian Culture, we stan. Enough said.

4. Widows

I saw this last week, and I’m still in awe of this movie. Widows depicts a strong narrative of four widows and the lengths they will go to to repay their late husbands’ debts. It’s filled with an all-star cast including the queen Viola Davis and Liam Neeson. It’s out in theatres, go see it!
