With the new year upon us, new series are being released across all platforms and networks. The following 10 series are a mix of new and returning shows that have earned a lot of social media buzz. So, without further ado, let’s clear our schedules for all of these exciting shows!

 

The Bachelor: Season 23 (ABC)

This show has such a strong fanbase (including myself) which makes watching it more of an event. Gather your friends to have a fun night watching the new bachelor, Colton Underwood, find love. Missed the first few episodes? You can find the latest episodes on Hulu before watching on Monday nights for the rest of the season. There is no shortage of drama and ridiculous moments to enjoy!

Tidying Up with Marie Kondo (Netflix)

Inspiring and joyful, this show combines everything people love about House Hunters and Queer Eye, creating a wholesome series about cleaning one’s house and life. Marie Kondo is an author and cleaning enthusiast who has created the KonMari method for organizing.

Schitt’s Creek: Season 5 (Pop)

This comedy series features a ridiculously rich and fabulous family that suddenly loses all of their money and has to move into a small town called Schitt’s Creek. Missed the first few episodes/seasons? You can find seasons 1-4 on Netflix and the most recent episodes on the Pop app.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Season 6 (NBC)

It’s back! With a new network, this hilarious season has received great reviews so far. You can find it on its new home, NBC, and binge the previous seasons on Hulu.

Sex Education (Netflix)

A new series to Netflix, Sex Education follows Otis, a teen with a sex therapist mother, who teams up to create a sex therapy clinic at his high school. Starring Asa Butterfield and Gillian Anderson, this series has gained immense popularity since its release.

Project Runway All-Stars: Season 7 (Lifetime)

Project Runway is back for the last time on Lifetime before it switches back to Bravo. For this season, they have decided to bring back past winners, including winners from various international Project Runway shows to figure out who really is the best of the best.

The Good Place: Season 3 (NBC)

The Good Place is back to continue the existential comedy about Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell) after she has died and is accidentally placed in “the good place.” Past seasons can be found on Netflix.

Grown-ish: Season 2 (Freeform)

Featuring the eldest daughter of the Johnson family from Black-ish, Zoey, Grown-ish explores her life as she enters college. Past seasons can be found on Hulu.

A Series of Unfortunate Events: Season 3 (Netflix)

Based on the popular book series, this is the final season following the three Baudelaire orphans as they attempt to escape the clutches of the evil Count Olaf (Neil Patrick Harris). 

How to Get Away with Murder: Season 5 (ABC)

Back for the second half of the fifth season, How to Get Away with Murder is a series about the powerful lawyer and professor, Annalise Keating, who forms a group of students to help with her defense trials. Past seasons can be found on Netflix.
