Marvel’s Black Panther took the world by storm last February, instantly becoming a cultural phenomenon. It grossed over $1.35 billion worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing film by a black director, as well as the 9th-highest-grossing film of all time. And it’s not done yet.

This week, from February 1st-7th, in honor of Black History Month, 250 AMC theaters will be bringing Black Panther back to the big screen, free of charge. Yep, you read that right—free. As an additional part of the promotion, Disney has also donated $1.5 million to the United Negro College Fund.

Want to go to a screening? Find out if a theater near you is participating and book your ticket here [hyperlink: weticketit.com/blackpanther/]. There are two screenings each day, one at 4 PM and one at 7 PM. Act fast so you don’t get waitlisted. The theater might be overbooked, so make sure to get there early—seats are first come, first serve.

Can’t make it to the theater this week? Don’t sweat it. AMC will be holding screenings of each Best Picture nominee later this month. Though Black Panther won’t be free then, it will still be fun seeing it on the big screen again. And, when in doubt, it’s still on Netflix.

Black Panther is nominated for 7 Academy Awards: Best Original Score, Best Original Song, Best Costume Design, Best Production Design, Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing, and, of course, Best Picture. Show the cast and crew your support in the best way you can—by seeing the movie in theaters once again this month.
