Valentine’s Day is a day full of love and happiness celebrated all over the world. Many think this holiday is just for your significant other, but I beg to differ. Friends and family deserve to be celebrated too, and if you’re like me, it can be hard to show every day appreciation for them. Below are four easy and cheap ways to help you appreciate those that you love on Valentine’s Day.
Make them a homemade dinner
Usually when you cook dinner, you have extras anyways, so why not grab an extra serving and cook for them? Potluck dinners are also super easy to plan and very fun to participate in.
Frame a picture of you two
Pictures are less than ten cents to print out, and a frame is a dollar at the dollar store. It’s also easy and cute to decorate the frame with paint and/or sharpies yourself.
Reasons why I appreciate you jar
This gift is very thoughtful because you can personalize it in many ways. You can also get a jar at the dollar store, along with cardstock that is very cheap and cute. You could also use notecards, and even paint the jar if you really want to go above and beyond.
Personal cards
This is the most simple act you can do for a friend. I don’t know about you, but I’ve made these cards since I’ve been in Kindergarten. Grab some paper and colored pens and deliver this handmade card for a guaranteed smile.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
