A lot of what we listen to on the radio or download on our phones have very derogatory messages about women. Many of these songs are either disrespectful towards women or hypersexualize women’s bodies. This issue is a pressing concern for me as a woman and a feminist, and I often struggle to find a healthy compilation of music to listen to that doesn’t demean feminist initiatives. However, I have found a pretty great list of songs that are empowering and work towards feminist goals and compiled them into a playlist perfect for any feminist as follows:
