This is a modern take on an old favorite, pride and prejudice.
The story follows Afro-Latino Zuri Benitez and her family leading up to her college applications. When the Darcy family moves in she wants absolutely nothing to do with them (especially Darius).

This book is a personal favorite of mine. This book is about star-crossed lovers Eleanor and Park and their developing relationship over a school year. They both realize that if they fall in love, it might not last. But they do it anyway and that’s what makes this story so beautiful despite the pain. It’s worth a read, trust me. But have some tissues ready just in case.
8. The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight: Jennifer E. Smith
More meet cute for your sweet tooth. Hadley Sullivan finds herself on a long flight to her father’s wedding in London. Insert cute British boy Oliver (who’s sitting in her row) and you’ve got yourself a love at first sight moment.
9. Once And For All: Sarah Dessen
The queen of YA romance, let’s be honest. This is Sarah Dessen’s 13th novel and its as sweet as all the others. Louna has seen a bunch of weddings from her mom’s work.
