Meet Tania Dominguez, a New Chapter Writer

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Harvard chapter.

This semester we recruited a few new chapter writers, one of which is Tania Domniguez! She is a sophmore studying Romance Languages & Literatures with a secondary in Film Studies, and is here to bring some great Chicanx pride to our team as the president of RAZA! As a new part of our HC family, we asked her some questions that will help you get to know her too!!

What relevant experience do you have? And how will you use it as part of Her Campus Harvard?

I have experience in writing for social media through running social media accounts for PALABRITAS and the LEAD Conference. I have also done some writing on a personal blog.

I would like to be a part of her campus as a way to get experience writing about topics I enjoy such as fashion, entertainment, and culture, particularly Latinx culture. I also think that writing for her campus would be a great place to build a body of work I am proud of.

What is something you are passionate about?

I love anything having to do with pop culture and entertainment especially music and film made my creators of color.

What are some things you are involved in on campus?

I am president of Harvard-Radcliffe RAZA, the Mexican/Chicanx org on campus. I run social media for PALABRITAS (Harvard’s Latinx literary magazine) and the LEAD Conference. I also sing with 21CC.
