Hello, beloved podcast listeners, I have long been on the search for a good queer podcast. I tried Nancy (which I love, don’t get me wrong, but it’s not quite what I was searching for), and I listened to every Tig Notaro and David Rakoff “This American Life” episode, but I wanted more.

This was when I discovered “Queer as Fiction,” a podcast by Ashly Perez, Kirsten King, and Amanda Holland, most of whom you probably know from BuzzFeed. What started as the three women reading classic lesbian novels (the first three to four episodes) soon became a conversational podcast where the three comedians write super short fan-fiction. From “Ocean’s 8 but Gayer” to “Harry Potter but Gayer” the three join hilarious queer comedy with mainstream pop culture.

So listen up my podqueers (I’m so sorry) because “Queer as Fiction” is the real deal. The podcast can be found wherever you usually listen to you podcasts, like Spotify and Podtail!
