Jeni’s

This is not your classic ice cream place, but Jeni’s has unique flavors, all of which are worth trying. A few of their stand-out flavors include Gooey Butter Cake, Salted Peanut Butter, and Brown Butter Almond Brittle. I also love the darkest chocolate flavor.

Ted Drewes Frozen Custard

The first time I had Ted Drewes, I didn’t think it was very special because the only options were vanilla and chocolate. However, when I went to get their frozen custard around 15 minutes away from campus, I was overwhelmed with the amount of options. I got the s’mores, which was a blend of ice cream, chocolate, marshmallow, and graham crackers. I highly recommend going because there’s so many flavors and toppings to try. You order outside so it’s great for warm weather!

The Baked Bear

The Baked Bear is a must-try place. They’re known for their ice cream sandwiches with homemade cookies. You can customize your cookie flavor as well as your ice cream flavors and toppings. You won’t leave this place hungry!

Tutti Frutti

While this is not ice cream, their frozen yogurt is pretty good and better than the other places I’ve tried in St. Louis. Plus, it’s close to campus and it’s self-serve!
