I know, I know. Finals week is hard enough. Although you may not be a senior with a bucket list, there are still things you should definitely do and experience before leaving JMU for a WHOLE SUMMER!
- Go to E Hall
-
Whether that is Breakfast, Brunch, or Dinner. Experiencing the last of JMU’s finest cuisine is a must before leaving for home.
- Go to UREC
-
Listen, I know it’s finals week, but UREC is free and amazing. If there’s one thing I’m for sure gonna miss over summer is not having to pay for a gym membership throughout the year. Sign up for a class or even go swimming! Just soak in those last couple of days of free gym membership while you still can.
- Take a picture with your roommates
-
This one may sound silly, but having a picture every year of you and who you lived with really defines college. When your a senior and you look back at your 4 years, you’re gonna remember those great and sometimes awful times with those you lived with. Grab the roomies and take a pic, either in front of your dorm sign or apartment building. Make sure to capture those mems!
- Walk through the Arboretum
-
This is a JMU MUST! The Arboretum is like a little slice of heaven right next to campus. Go take a study break from ECL and walk through the Arboretum for some fresh air and a beautiful view.
- Hang out on the Quad
-
This one is kinda like a DUH activity. Although you’d be surprised how many people you know have never actually just “hung out” on the quad. Grab some friends, iced coffee, and a speaker, and go enjoy the last few nice days of the semester chilling on the quad. You’d be surprised how relaxing and serene it is to just be an “average college student” and hang out on the quad.
Go out there and enjoy the last few days we have with JMU *silently cries purple and gold*
