This week’s Campus Cutie is the gorgeous and sweet Aanisah. Aanisah is a sophomore Cybersecurity major from New Jersey. She is an outgoing person with a huge personality once you get to know her. She loves working out (4 times a week) and going to the beach. Keep reading on to learn more about this Taurus beauty.

HC: What are you involved in on campus?

Aanisah: On campus, I am involved in Student Union Board, HU Exchange Club, and the North Pac. Being involved in these different organizations helps me remain active in a positive way. From community service and fundraisers to bonding events, I’ve been able to add these experiences to my college career. Not only does it promote being active, but also I gained great friendships.

HC: What are your goals in and after college?

Aanisah: My goals for in college are to remain on the Dean’s List, get inducted into an honor society, secure an internship, and to start up my fitness training career. Ultimately, I want to graduate with a secure job. I want to work within the government in the cybersecurity field and to be located in a fast pace area. I am a city girl so I always dreamed of working in New York or DC.

HC: Describe yourself in three words.

Aanisah: Outgoing. Headstrong. Considerate.

HC: What do you look for a guy?

Aanisah: I look for maturity and independence. Someone who has something going for themselves and can make a way out of any situation. I need someone who is intellectual and optimistic. I sometimes can think  of the worst case scenario too often so I need someone to balance me out. I love confidence, but not cockiness. Someone who carries themselves well.

HC: Favorite song at the moment?

Aanisah: “Shea Butter Baby” by Ari Lennox & J. Cole and “Take You There” by H.E.R.

HC: Who is your celebrity crush?

Aanisah: Michael B. Jordan

HC: How do you feel about Beyoncé’s documentary about HBCUs?

Aanisah: I absolutely loved it! I’m already a huge Beyoncé fan and she can do wrong in my eyes. Seeing her share with the world the HBCU culture, the history behind HBCUs, and how they mold people to greatness makes me so proud to attend an HBCU. Hampton is crafting me into a beautiful young lady and I’m excited to see the woman that I know I will become.

HC: What are you excited about in the coming years of your time at HU?

Aanisah: I am excited about getting more into depth with my major classes so I can see more of what my future career will hold. I’m also excited to see what changes HU will make and just to be here for that process. Ultimately, I’m very excited to add to my college experience.

There is so much more than meets the eye with Aanisah, who may seem a little quiet at first. She is so poised yet funny. Follow her on Instagram to get to know her more!
