Although having well put together outfits may not be the most important part about going back to school, it is important.  I believe that when you look good, you feel good.

How you start your day impacts how you approach the rest of the day. Because the outfits you choose affect your mood, I’m going to show you some comfortable outfits that will have you walking with confidence every day (even if your aren’t in the mood to “dress up”).

Comfy. Sporty. Chic.

Now I’ll be the first to say it. I LOVE sweatpants, leggings, and biker shorts. If I’m being real here I only end up “dressing up” the first few weeks of school. The last thing I want to do when I have really long days is put on some ankle booties and end up with throbbing feet when I take them off at the end of the day. So drum roll please……..

This is how you’re going to spice up the sweats in your closet…

The key is to not only find pieces that give your outfit some structure, but to pick piece that come in neutral colors. Lets be real, when neutrals are put together it looks like you tried hard to look good, when in reality all you did was create a color pallet of with your sweater, coat, and sweatpants.

Now the biker shorts. It’s either you love them or you hate them. I personally like them. They’re especially awesome for shorter girls who look even shorter because regular leggings tend to cover our ankles and this cuts us off, making us look even shorter.

Living on the Wild Side

I don’t always wear sweats to class. And when I don’t its fun to opt for statement pieces that catch the eye. To tone down these kinds of pieces, I try to style them with neutrals. Without neutrals its hard to make neon and animal prints to work for an everyday look.

I love this twist on the animal printed satin dress because its the perfect way to transition your summer clothes into the fall.

These pants are to die for but like I said before. Pairing pants like these can’t be pair with another print/pattern.

I was never a fan of the neon trend, but this is something I could definitely do! I think this is the perfect way to work neon into your outfit.

Fall Chic

Fall is the best time, not just because of apple cider and the falling leaves, but because the outfit option are endless. I mean how can you not get excited for riding boots, sweaters, turtles necks, and big scarves.

Fun print dresses are always fun, especially in the fall.

Oversized sweaters are a staple in every girl’s closet, but during the fall oversized goes from “I just woke up” to fall fashion award.

Fall is always the time of year to bring out your cute boots and match them perfectly with any outfit.

Adding Flare to the Average

Basic outfits are the best, But to keep yourself from getting bored with your look, add some flare to your basics. Sometimes it’s as easy as adding a cami over your t-shirt to give your look more structure. And sometimes it may ential buying new jeans with some detail or trading in your t-shirt for a camisole.
