Lauren’s Listening Club here with 10 songs you’re not going to want to miss! Some tunes good for walking to class, dancing alone, screaming at the top of your lungs, and everything in between. Feedback is highly encouraged, happy listening!

“13th Century Metal” by Brittany Howard You didn’t think I’d let a Brittany Howard single go without recognizing it, did you? This song makes my brain go qoienfia9soskkskskskk.

“Something On Your Mind” by Karen Dalton Karen Dalton here to confirm that the ‘70s were the best.

“Lark” by Angel Olsen Already obsessed with this album and only two songs have been released. I kept getting Strange Cacti vibes, and later found out that she had written this song around that same time, but I think it pairs nicely with “All Mirrors,” which we heard a couple months ago.

“The Tide” by La Force This song apparently has the power to make you “feel more like a woman,” or so I’ve heard.

“Little Death” by The Beths Yet another killer female led rock group out of the Pacific. Fun fact: The Beths played their first show at a bar I had the honor of going to while in New Zealand. If you’re ever out yonder, would 10/10 recommend checking out Whammy.

“Rebellion (Lies)” by Arcade Fire Fifteen years old and this song gets better and better each time. Happy birthday, Funeral. Give her a good listen if you haven’t already.

“Dalai Lama” by Liz Cooper and the Stampede, “As Long As We’re Together” by The Lemon Twigs, “Scott Street” by Phoebe Bridgers, “Crane Your Neck” by Lady Lamb I keep realizing week after week that there are so many songs that have deserved an appearance on this list a very long time ago. I’m ashamed to now only give them the light of day, but so we persist:
