The day I bought my first Jeffree Star products was hands down one of the best days of my life. I just started watching Jeffree Star and that queen can really beat a face, that being said, I was truly interested in how his products were going to work so I waited till I was sure that I wanted to try them because I don’t really buy makeup products that I know I won’t use.
All my friends who have used his products, raved about them and said they were some of the best products they had used. So after doing some research and scrolling on his website for hours, I knew that it was time. I had to go ahead and buy a makeup product of his. My new queen and inspiration, Jeffree Star is known for his blinding highlighters and lipsticks so that’s what I purchased. I bought the Liquid Frost highlighter in the shade “Expensive” and a matte liquid lipstick in the shade “Unicorn Blood,” and let me tell you, I WAS IMPRESSED.
The liquid highlighter was not chunky in any way whatsoever, which I was very happy about and when I put it on my skin, it was BLINDING. A girl was glowing on every part of her body she put it on. The formula was so nice and creamy and super easy to put on. My only complaint about it is that it was hard to blend with my contour but you face that problem with any liquid highlighter.
The lipstick was an even greater purchase because the formula was FANTASTIC. It was so easy to put on even without a lip liner and the shape of the brush made it very easy for application. It is a very dry lipstick that will not budge and dried very quickly. I bought the shade “Unicorn Blood” and it is a deep red color that would look beautiful on anyone.
Not only did I buy a lipstick and a highlighter but I also bought one of his eyeshadow palettes. The eyeshadow palette is what I was most impressed with. I bought his Blood Sugar palette. It is a palette full of reds and pinks. All the colors were so pigmented and applied so easily to the lid. The matte and the shimmer shadows all felt so creamy and blended just as I had hoped for. Side note, I love this palette but not as much as I love the JamesxMorphe palette. All in all, his makeup products were to die for and was so happy I purchased them because I will definitely be buying and using more.
