As we all know, college is tough, but waking up in the morning and looking presentable every day is even harder! Just like the rest of you, I too enjoy getting every bit of sleep that I can before my alarm rings in the morning. With that being said, here are some tips and tricks that will transform your morning makeup game!

Hide those bags baby!

Every college student knows the struggle of staying up until 2 a.m. every night and waking up at 8 a.m. every morning. Concealer will be your best friend to hide those horrific dark circles under your eyes and make you look awake and alive! I’ve been loving the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Full Wear Concealer! With this stuff, a little bit goes a long way and the super full coverage makes sure you look like you got a full night’s sleep. Which, we all know, never happens.

Brush out those brows!

I cannot leave the house without my eyebrows done, but it takes so long to actually do them! One thing I’ve learned is that with a simple makeup look comes simple brows and that’s just what I do! Benefit’s Brow Zings are perfect for filling in those pesky patches. Quick, easy, done.

Blush it up!

Now that your face is pale and your eyebrows are on, you’re probably looking kind of CRAY! Don’t worry, we’ll fix that! One of my favorite ways to spice up a makeup look is to add blush. It adds a little bit of color back into your face, while also giving you a youthful glow. I usually tap and little bit onto the apples of my cheeks and the tip of my nose, and I’m good to go! My current favorites are the Milani baked blushes — not only do they come in the prettiest colors, but they also have a cute shimmer to them.

Let’s get sparkly!

My favorite way to add a pop of color into my makeup look is through eyeshadow! I usually go for a light pink shimmer shade and swipe it across my eyelid, but you can go for any color you’d like for that awesome POP! Morphe makes some of the best eyeshadow palettes for such a great price, so I usually reach for my Morphe 35o palette and use the light pink shimmer on the right-hand side.

Line that lid!

I used to be obsessed with liquid eyeliner, but recently I’ve been reaching for something more natural: pencil liner! I usually grab a brown eyeliner and smudge a little bit onto my upper lash line for a smokey and messy look.

Lash out!

The most important part of every makeup look is mascara! Nothing beats lifting those lashes and making them look awesome. I am very picky about my mascaras, but after years of searching, I finally found two that I love. My favorite of all time is Too Faced Better than Sex, but after tearing apart the drug store makeup aisles, I finally found the best dupe, L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise. Not only is it super cheap, but it does a fantastic job of giving me awesome lashes!

Lips Lips Lips!

The last step of my morning makeup includes some chapstick! Not only does it keep my lips super hydrated, but it also adds a little bit of shine without all of the gloss.

I know this sounds like a lot, but, trust me, it’s the quickest and easiest part of my entire morning. I walk out my door feeling confident and ready to take on my day, without feeling completely overdone!
