Spooky Season is upon us, and let me just say I could not be more excited. October doesn’t just mean Halloween; October signifies the commencement of the fall season and all of the pumpkin-flavored joy that comes with it. Hot apple cider on a cold night? Yes, please. Over-sized sweaters and fuzzy blankets? Sign me up!

One of my favorite fall activities is snuggling up with some yummy snacks (preferably Cheeze-Its) and re-watching some classic Halloween TV episodes. Are there a lot? Yes. Do I plan on watching them all again this year? Abso-freaking-lutely.

Fear not, though: I have compiled a list of my favorite Halloween episodes from Friends to The Office so you, too, can kick back with a Pumpkin Spice Latte and binge-watch to your heart’s content!

Friends, “The One with the Halloween Party”

Although Friends is one of my all-time favorite shows, it has one fatal flaw: they only made one Halloween episode in all its 10 seasons. ONE! Regardless, “The One with the Halloween Party” is still an episode very-much worth watching. With Ross dressed as a giant potato and Chandler in a pink bunny costume, what more could you ask for?

Brooklyn Nine-Nine, “Halloween”

Brooklyn Nine-Nine is one of the funniest shows on television, and I must say that their annual Halloween heist episodes are some of their best work. In “Halloween,” the first of many heist episodes, Jake bets Captain Holt that he can steal his Medal of Honor before the night is over. Filled with hilarious antics and twists-and-turns (not to mention the brilliance of Gina Linetti), “Halloween” is definitely at the top of my list for some spooky season binging.

The Office, “Costume Contest”

The Office is another show with a plethora of Halloween episodes to choose from. I will probably be watching them all, but “Costume Contest” is a great place to start. In this episode, the Dunder Mifflin employees are competing in, you guessed it, a costume contest! There are costume changes, office drama, and an adorable appearance by Jim and Pam’s daughter, Cece. So, yeah, you could say this episode’s got it all.

Parks and Recreation, “Greg Pikitis”

This episode introduces us to the infamous Greg Pikitis, a high school boy with a pension for vandalism who also happens to be Leslie Knope’s “arch-nemesis.” While Tom comes to the rescue and revives Ann’s lackluster Halloween party, Leslie, her police officer boyfriend Dave, and Andy set out to catch Pikitis while he vandalizes the town mayor’s statue. From Leslie’s hilarious determination to destroy Greg Pikitis to a surprise ending, this is Parks and Recreation at its finest.

How I Met Your Mother, “The Slutty Pumpkin”

If you’ve never seen How I Met Your Mother (HIMYM), you’re probably reading this and thinking, “The slutty what?” Trust me, though, this episode is worth watching. The story goes that Ted met a girl dressed as a slutty pumpkin at a Halloween party and hasn’t seen her since. In an attempt to find the girl who he is convinced is his lost love, Ted attends the same party every year in hopes that she will return. With Marshall and Lily in an adorable couple’s costume and Barney doing typical Barney things, this episode of HIMYM serves us some serious spooky season vibes.

Go forth and binge-watch!
