The best season is finally upon us. Fall, better known as Spooky Season, is here! Let’s be real, summer is great, but there’s a point when 80 degrees and being sweaty in class is no longer fun. It’s time to embrace every aspect of the best season in the year.
- Pumpkin Patches
-
This is a family favorite. The Instagram picture you can take with your friends will definitely bring fall into your feed.
- Fall Drinks
-
Starbucks launched the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew this year and it definitely has been a fan favorite among my friends. That’s not to say you should forget about apple cider, hot chocolate, salted mochas and pumpkin spice lattes (if you’re a fan of those). These drinks definitely put you in a fall mood.
- Colder Weather
-
You can only enjoy the warm weather for so long. As someone who walks to campus, I am glad beyond relief that colder weather is headed our way and I don’t have to sit in my first class sweating. The colder weather brings up my next point:
- Sweater Weather
-
Fall really has the best fashion by far. Sweaters, jeans, leggings, hoodies, flannels, booties, vests and just about anything warm.
- Fall Decor
-
It’s time to bring on Halloween and fall decor inside of your home. I know the minute we changed the calendar in our house, we brought out all the spooky decor like pumpkin lights and bats. If you’re opting for something that’s more seasonal, using fall colors like red, yellow and tan set a different mood for your home. What’s not to love?
- Spooky Movies
-
I can say that I am a huge fan of Halloween themed movies. Halloweentown is a classic and Twitches brings everyone back to their childhood. Let’s also not forget about Hocus Pocus and really any of the Scooby Doo movies. These are great to watch by yourself or with your friends. If you’re looking for a distraction during midterms this is the route to go.

The best reason for the season is Halloween itself. What’s a better way to wrap up October and dive straight into November than getting dressed up in costumes. That’s not to forget that once you reach college it becomes one of the most memorable weekends you’ll have on campus.
Colder nights, better fashion, spooky movies and so much more. Fall is finally in full swing and it’s time to bring out the sweaters and festive mood. Spooky season is by far the best season. If you think otherwise, you’re probably wrong.
