I’m not sure about everyone else, but I found myself so excited about this spooky season that I was craving shows I could watch that would help it feel like fall. Now that we’re a couple weeks in, I’ve had time to compile a list of the best ones, so if any of you are still craving fall content, look no further!
- The Office
-
Maybe it’s just me, but for some reason The Office has a fall vibe. The Halloween episodes are always lots of fun, but the majority of the show’s episodes also just feel like fall. Maybe it’s something about Scranton as a city, or the fact that working in an office makes me think of it being autumn? I can’t really explain it, but any excuse to promote The Office, am I right?
- The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (Season 1)
-
“In the town of Greendale, where it always feels like Halloween, there lived a girl who was half-witch, half-mortal…”
The first season of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is set in October/November. The show centers around Sabrina’s sixteenth birthday, which of course is on Halloween. Season two doesn’t have quite the same feel, but season one has awesome spooky season vibes.
- Stranger Things
-
This show is SPOOKY. Even though seasons one and three aren’t set in the fall, the horror and thriller elements still make this show chilling enough to fit into the category of fall-feeling. Plus, season two actually has a Halloween episode!
- Charmed
-
The fact that this show has been taken off Netflix is a damn crime. Three sisters, destined to be the most powerful witches of their time and fight evil demons, all while wearing awesome 90’s clothes and cheesy costumes? And it’s campy, fun and has strong powerful female characters? It’s always the perfect time to binge Charmed, but now more than ever!
- The Haunting of Hill House
-
Apparently, this is one of the scariest TV shows on Netflix right now. I’m too much of a wuss to watch it, but I figured a horror show would be a perfect thing to watch if you’re looking for a darker, more spooky fall feel.
- Halloween Wars
-
So for me personally, fall is the time to consume my body weight in Pillsbury cookies. But, on the chance you’re interested in something a little fancier that’s also spooky and fun, check out this food network baking show that challenges teams of bakers, carvers and artists to create the ultimate Halloween display.
Hopefully this list can give you some options in case you’re looking for any shows you can binge to help keep you in the spooky season mood!
