5 Perfect Pairs That Make Killer Halloween Costumes

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCLA chapter.

Oh yes, spooky season is here. It is your time to be unapologetically spooky in every way possible. Get Halloween Town downloaded in 1080p and candy corn ready on demand. And of course, you can’t forget that iconic costume you’ve been thinking about all year. But if you haven’t been thinking about it— do not fret. I am here. Let’s welcome 5 pairs that make KILLER Halloween costumes that everyone will appreciate. Well maybe not everyone. But I will.

The Identity Swap

Become your friend, and let your friend become you! This one might take some explaining, but once people are in the know, it is sure to start a conversation and call for some laughs. Better yet, swap personalities while you’re at it…

Santa Clause & Mrs. Clause

Why not bring another holiday into this spooky one? It may be a little tricky to assign who is who, but it’ll sure make for some iconic photos and looks. Don’t forget to respond with, “ho-ho-ho” to every person who tries to talk to you. Seriously.

Dog Friends

This one is just what it sounds like. Grab a friend, pick a breed, become the breed… and BAM. You are dog friends. Add a leash to make it extra snazzy!

Your Favorite Bachelor Couple

Oh yes, this is one for the books. Dress up as your favorite The Bachelor couple and get people questioning if you are even in costume. And then you’ll explain, and BOOM! They are SHOOK.

The Jonas Brothers

This one is definitely my favorite. Who said the Jonas Brothers have to include all 3 of them? Pick your two favorite brothers, dress up, maybe blast their tunes while you walk around… and if anyone asks, you’re still The Jonas Brothers, but just two instead of three. Genius.

Nicolette is sophomore at UCLA studying psychobiology with a minor in professional writing. She is the author of her first published book, Control Mindset, a nonfiction guide to taking control of your mind & reality. Her aspirations are in the field of medicine, but she enjoys connecting the art of writing and creation with the sciences. She thinks writing biographies is very hard so she is butchering this as she types. She thanks you for reading her article and hopes you learned something new. She also loves coffee and needs some right now. She argues dark roast is the best roast. She's also probably hungry right now. Nom nom.
