With fall in our midst, it’s time for a wardrobe revamp. These building blocks for your wardrobe will enable you to create any fall outfit your heart desires!

LBD (Little Black Dress)

This little number is every girl’s best friend. We all need at least one of these to dress up or dress down. Wear it with a plaid shirt and fall boots or wear it with heels and curl your hair to go to dinner with the girls.

White T-Shirt

If you didn’t already know, a white t-shirt is the most versatile piece you can have in your closet. Wear it with a skirt, under a sweater, with jeans, with leggings, in bed. WEAR IT ANYWHERE.

Blue and Black Jeans

I know, leggings over jeans any day of the week but hear me out. Jeans can be casual or dressy if you need them to be. You can wear them on a date or to the pumpkin patch with your friends. Rips or not, jeans are actually the perfect choice for a day where you are having trouble putting an outfit together.

Black Boots

Black booties are the biggest fall staple. They can be both casual and dressy, especially if you get a pair with a cute little heel. We love our booties for fall, maybe even more than fall itself (but let’s not push it).

White Sneakers

For the days where you feel you are wearing your booties too often and want something casual for class, these are the best go to. Disclaimer: I do NOT recommend wearing these at Phil’s or on St. Pattys.

Plaid Shirt

These are not just for farm girls. Plaids are cute for a fall date, going to class or putting on over your PJs when you’re cold. I personally recommend getting yourself a muted tone plaid, but the colourful ones are super cute too! They are the nicest layer to throw on top of anything.

Jean Jacket

I have never worn something as much as I wear my oversized jean jacket. I put that sh*t on everything. Casual, dressy or even just as a button-up top, we love a jean jacket! Tie it in the front and wear it cropped. You do you girl!

Hoodies

How to acquire a hoodie: steal them from your late-night hookup, your boyfriend or your best friend’s closet. I swear, I have more hoodies that I have stolen than actually purchased. Wear them to class, bed or dress it up with your jean jacket and a pair of cute earrings. With your hair in a cute updo and those white sneakers you have to go buy after reading this article, you have the perfect fall outfit.

Scarf

I have an obsession with scarves. I always insist that every girl have at least one in their closet. Not only are they practical, they’re also hella cute. I wear one almost every day when the season is transitioning from fall to winter.

Now you have your shopping list, get to the mall and pick up all of your closet essentials for fall 2019! Note: all of these items are transferable for the winter!
