#FoodieFriday: Catch A Healthy Habit Café

Recently we took a trip to Catch A Healthy Habit Café, located at 39 Unquowa Road in Fairfield. We stopped in for lunch and were able to try a bunch of their fall menu items. They focus on being organic, gluten-free, soy-free, raw, and offer vegan and vegetarian options. 

 

 

I know, I know…you heard the words “organic,” “raw,” and “gluten-free” and immediately thought EW. Well, think again, because this café is anything but ew. We snacked on their Coconut Curry Quinoa, and it was to die for. With such a warm and hearty taste to it, this quinoa dish is perfect for those chilly fall days. Plus, it had carrots and zucchini in it, which are some of my favorite veggies. We also snacked on the Harvest Salad, which had some delicious candied pecans on it. The salad was a huge portion, and it lasted us for lunch, dinner, and lunch the next day!

 

We also tried the Pucker Up juice, which contained green apple, lemon, ginger, and celery. This was my favorite thing that we tried! Normally, green juices can taste a little ~too green~ for my liking, but this one was sweet because of the apple, which I loved. I’m also a huge fan of ginger, so the more, the merrier! Finally, we tried the most decadent smoothie bowl. The Chocolate Monkey smoothie bowl was green, but surprisingly tasted like bananas. The best part? It was topped with brownie bites, cookie dough, and chocolate chips. Are you drooling yet?!

Catch A Healthy Habit Café is a fantastic spot to grab a smoothie or juice on the go. The food options are super tasty, and this is the perfect place to ease into a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle!
