As adults, we graduate from a diary to journaling, but at the end of the day, it’s the same exact thing. Journaling is one of the most productive activities an adult can do to relax and get away from their everyday lives.

Journaling helps to alleviate everyday stress and emotions. I began journaling at the beginning of my freshman year, and ever since, it serves as a way to look back on my memories and feelings. I open my journal and I flip back to the pages of my freshman year move-in day! It’s a natural chronological way of registering your life! Ever since I started journaling, I started becoming more in touch with my feelings and emotions. I am more in control of what is present in my life have a better understanding of how I can better myself.
