My Favorite Red Carpet Looks From the 2019 American Music Awards

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at LUC chapter.

The 2019 American Music Awards was truly one for the books. From Halsey’s creative performance of her hit single “Graveyard” to Taylor Swift winning The Artist of the Decade Award, this year’s AMA’s will be one to remember. Apart from the killer music performances from some big names in the industry, the AMA’s featured some beautiful fashion looks. Among all of the exquisite outfits, I’ve narrowed down my three favorites from the night:Number three on my list is the talented Camilla Cabello. Cabello’s look was a cohesive mixture of effortless and elegant. The singer rocked a cream colored tulle gown by Oscar De La Renta and nude Jimmy Choo heels. She kept the look simple with minimal jewelry and with her hair braided down her shoulder. If you ask me, this look was a total success.

Next, “Knives Out” actress Katherine Langford was absolutely dashing in a red dress from the Rodarte Spring 2019 collection. Red translated into other pieces of the outfit such as her Steward Weitzman sandals  and her gorgeous red eyeshadow. For an added touch, Langford had her hairline embellished with golden beads which made her look even more majestic.

And last but not certainly not least, the beautiful Selena Gomez. Gomez looked absolutely stunning in her strapless Versace mini dress which featured a ruffle detailing on the left side. She paired the dress with matching neon pumps and finished the look off with a glamorous diamond necklace from Roberto Coin. Gomez also showed off a sleek new haircut that pulled the look together.

This year’s AMA fashion choices were truly remarkable. Camilla Cabello enchanted us with a light and airy look that was simple yet fierce, Katherine Langford went for a striking all red get-up that was confident and daring, and Selena Gomez looked sophisticated and elegant in neon green silk. These ladies rocked the carpet and took my breath away. I cannot wait to see what fashion choices they’ll make at the next AMA’s!
