With 2019 drawing to a close and December almost here, we’re living for winter style.

We have a million and one things to do around this time of year and it can seem almost impossible to find the time to go Christmas shopping for clothes. Whether you’re trying to find something to wear for a Christmas party or for drinks with the girls, look no further, we have you covered.

If you’re as broke as many students are around gift giving season, you’ll appreciate our trusty friend Penneys. It gives us the gift of fabulous on trend clothes at more affordable prices. Here are a few items you’re definitely going to want to add to your winter wardrobe wishlist. Tbh I am obsessed!

Coats are always a great place to start for a Christmas style guide. Is there ever truly such a thing as having too many coats? I don’t think so. Coats can complete any outfit.  At €40, coat one is a pink faux fur mid length coat and is sure to make a statement and add some colour to any outfit, it screams iconic.

This second coat , also costing €40,  is a staple for any wardrobe this December. It’s a beige teddy mid length coat that can be worn with anything from a dress to a pair of gym leggings and a jumper. For under €50, it’s simply irresistible. Last but certainly not least, coat three is perfect for any college student. It’s cropped, blush pink and furry; what more could you want? And at just €20, it’s a bargain.

Marie Claire is also encouraging the fleece and fur trend this winter in their ‘8 winter street style trends to try’ article. These coats will keep you cozy and on trend.

The realisation that you have nothing to wear for a Christmas party can be stressful. Whether it’s for drinks with the gals or a work Christmas party, this cowl neck slip dress shown on Lisa Jordan comes in blush and silver/black sequins, the silver rope belt maximises the glamour factor and for only €16, how can you say no! With a few accessories this dress will make you a modern day dancing queen, a simple single necklace and eye-catching earrings and you are ready to go and even better, it can be paired with almost any heels you have in your wardrobe already. Dress, €16.

Then of course we can’t forget about chilling, what’s the point of cold weather if we can’t sit in in our pyjamas all day. From staple Late Late Toy Show PJ’s to fluffy penguin PJ sets for €13, you won’t want to leave your house. Hibernation mode ON. If you wanted to go absolutely wild they have released their classic fluffy dressing gowns.

Style icon Suzanne Jackson, also known as SoSueMe, is serving up a Christmas day look in a collab with Penneys. If you’re searching for an effortlessly chic ensemble to wear on Christmas day (or for an hour while you eat your dinner before changing back into pajamas), look no further. The top is €15 and the leather look trousers are €17. You can re-wear this outfit for anything from drinks with the gals to a christmas date, it’s a win-win.

You don’t need to break the bank this Christmas to be on Kris Jenner’s level, you can be stylish and savvy. If you do decide to wear any of these looks over Christmas make sure to tag @hercampusdcu on instagram!
