As the new year and decade begins, people tend to want to change certain aspects of their lives. Whether that be new fitness goals, new hobbies, or anything else to try to better themselves. However, sometimes change could be as easy as a new mindset, and the laws of attraction may indeed help with that. These “laws” basically state that positive or negative actions or feelings bring positive or negative events back into your life. In other words, what you put out is what you’re going to get.

When starting out in this mindset, the first thing you want to do is analyze your actions and reactions to various events in your life. What has the main emotion been? Is there anything you can improve? Keep an idea of your main emotion you have felt in your life so far, as well as the people in your life. Are the ones in your closest circle giving off emotions that can positively impact you? If not, either it’s time for a heart to heart, or maybe they just aren’t healthy to have in your life. But if you need to cut people off, you do not have to let them make you feel like the bad guy. You are doing what’s right for you, and if anything cutting people off is more of a worst case scenario. Always know you deserve happiness within your life. You deserve positivity, and letting go of toxic people or habits will not attract negative back into your life.

So what are some tactics and emotions you want to harbor in order for you to be successful? After you’ve done some research on your emotional habits, you’re going to want to dig deep down on what other positive emotions can you conjure up when looking at life itself. Emotions other than happiness can be anything like success, hopefulness, peace, kindness, and gratitude. With those emotions, what actions can you do in order to put out positivity so you can receive it on your end too? Donating, community service, or just being there for the people you love in general are simple but highly impactful ways you can attract that feeling. At the same time, you’re doing good for others as well as yourself, which selflessness is a great quality to have. But with the positivity of helping out others, know you are allowed to help yourself as well.

The laws of attraction have been studied and used for decades. Utilizing this mentality can potentially help a person going through a rough patch in their lives. Realizing some actions (yours as well as others around and effecting you) and emotions you are feeling may be the root cause of everything seemingly falling apart. It is a great way to get a better outlook on life as well as a great way to somewhat help yourself see life in an optimistic light. After all, you deserve all of the positivity in your life that you can get.
