Hi Ladies! Here are a few date ideas to try out with your crush, significant other, best friend or group of girlfriends!

1) Broadway show

Check out Student Rush, TKTS, Broadway Week for student discounted tickets or test your luck by entering a lottery!

2) Game Night

During the early hours you can try a board game cafe called Uncommons or places like Ace and Barcade for games like pacman and skeeball. If you rather watch instead of play, the NY Knicks are playing at MSG on 2/12 or NY Rangers on 2/16.

3) Music

Not sure what everyone’s music taste is like, but the Lumineers are playing at the Barclays Center & Lee Brice is playing at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury on Valentines Day! Cafe Wha also has really good performances by all types of artists. If you enjoy singing I suggest trying Hill Country’s Live Band Karaoke & you can enjoy texas barbeque while singing your heart out!

4) Paint & Sip

Paint and Sip is the newest trend to unwind and let your creative self flourish. There are plenty of places all around the city for about $30. If you plan on drinking I suggest picking a place that is byob to save the extra cash.

5) Check out a new NYC Pop Up

Whether it be the Color Factory, Ice Cream Museum or the Star Wars exhibit, there is a pop up for everyone! Make sure to wear a cute outfit and charge your phone for the typical instagram pics.

6) Museums

Some museums have special tours such as Cupid’s Tour of the Metropolitan Museum on Valentines Day.

7) Eat out at a new place

Gallow Green at the McKittrick Hotel is a super cute rooftop spot with a twinkly light forest atmosphere overlooking the Hudson River. If you love the tv show “Friends”, you can eat at Little Owl in their building and then take the tour!  To cure your sweet tooth, I have been told to visit Via Quadronno for some of the best coffee and tiramisu NYC has to offer. If you have plans for later already, try out brunch spots like Loncanda Verde.

8) Alone time

Whether it’s a little walk through Central Park after desert or a walk through your favorite part of the city, take the time to catch up and spend quality time with your significant other or girlfriends!

9) Ice Skating with a view

Skating at Rockfeller is nice and all, but can get seriously crowded and pricey! Checkout Winterland the Pier 17 rooftop skating rink that is overlooking the Manhattan Skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge.

10) Movies

Try out one of the newer theatres in the city that offer reclining chairs and full menus of different food options that exceed buttery popcorn.

11) Spa Day

Many spas in the city have valentines packages or an option to just pick one service. Many people have been going to SOJO spa when they have deals, salt caves or the “ancient” baths in the city.

Happy Valentines Day loves xxx
