My Favorite Workouts When I’m Bored of the Gym

I like to work out, but sometimes, going to the gym feels boring. So, instead of going to the gym, I try to still be active while trying a new workout. Here is a list of my favorite workouts that are fun and enjoyable!

  1. Cycling

I recently tried cycling, and let me tell you, I’m a big fan. Whether it’s going to a workout class or just making my own killer playlist and hopping on a bike, I love cycling. It’s fun and helps you push yourself. Some days, I even go on bike rides around my neighborhood, and it’s fun to get a change of scenery

    2. Hiking

I grew up near the mountains, so my family and I always went hiking! It’s a fun way to burn some calories while also hanging out with other people. Even if you don’t live near some hiking trails, you can go on long walks around your neighborhood or even find a park that has walking paths. 

    3. Kickboxing 

Kickboxing is one of my favorite ways to workout when I get bored of doing the same workouts every day. Whether it be taking a class or finding a video online, this is a great way to get your heart pumping. I love it because it makes you feel so strong and powerful!

    4. Dancing 

I grew up dancing, so every week, I like to switch my usual workout for dancing. It can be me just making up moves as I go, taking a class, or learning new dances I found online. It’s an amazing way to get your workout in!
