Things To Do When You’re Stuck at School During Spring Break

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SAU chapter.

If you’re like me and thought, “Oh, let’s take another course at a different school because it is cheaper,” than you’re in the right place. I will not be going anywhere for both of my breaks. Here are some fun home alternatives.

  1. Look at local places to hang out in so you are not alone in the dorms such as local book stores that have cafes.
  2. Go to the movies, especially on a Tuesday, five-dollar movie night.
  3. Go bowling, invite non-school friends out for a night of fun.
  4. What are some local attractions nearby that pique you’re interests?
  5. Escape rooms.
  6. Restaurants with cool themes.
  7. Pottery places.
  8. Relaxation techniques, because of stress man.
  • Meditation; something I really need to work on.
  • Take a walk around campus.

9. Go visit an animal shelter and offer to help out for the day. What isn’t relaxing about being around cute animals?

10. Do the homework that professors decided to assign for you to do during spring break.

11. Enjoy the quietness of the dorms fam.

12. Take a road trip somewhere to visit friends that live a few hours away.
