During a time when most stores have closed, school is online and many of us are self quarantined at home. What is there to really do? Well here are 16 things that you can do while social distancing.

  1. Shop Online. As everyone is social distancing, there’s no better time to check out some online shops! A lot of companies are offering free shipping and are having sales to encourage people to shop.

  2. Take a bath. No matter what time of day it is, taking a bath is by far one of the most relaxing activities you can do. Light some candles and maybe watch a movie too. It really is a great way to forget about the outside world.

  3. Clean. But not just any type of cleaning. Clean to get rid of clothes, books and anything you just don’t see a use for anymore and sell it online. It’s a fast and easy way to declutter and you can earn some money while you’re at it. Sites you can use are Mercari, Poshmark, Facebook and even Instagram!

  4. Find new music. Whether you use Spotify or Apple Music, find new artists. With whatever new artists you find and like you can create a Quarantine playlist with!

  5. Download Tik Tok. It can literally kill hours of your time but in a good way. If you are already obsessed with TikTok, like many are, why not make a TikTok?

  6. Clean your makeup brushes. During this time, if there is anything you can do, it’s finally clean your makeup brushes. There is no better time to,  especially when you’re quarantined at home. Plus, the next time you do wear makeup, you will be using clean brushes and will feel a lot better. Also, your skin will definitely thank you later.

  7. Make some Pinterest boards. Plan an inspiration board that you want to complete once quarantine is over.

  8. Tan. There is never not a good time to tan. Unless it’s raining. Anyways, get some Vitamin D and enjoy the sunshine, but please keep your distance from others while getting some fresh air.

  9. Work out. Gyms might be closed but working out at home is the next best thing. If you do not know where to start, don’t stress! A lot of trainers, gym rats, and fitness influencers have been posting in-home workouts. It is possible that maybe even your local gym is streaming daily workouts on their social media platforms too. Find out which one best fits you. One fitness trainer that I follow is Krissy Cela. She has her home workouts in a highlighted story, so make you check her out! Instagram: @Krissycela

  10. Read. Read one of those books that you bought forever ago that you keep telling yourself you will read and haven’t. There is no better time to read than now.

  11. Read your Horoscope. Whether you believe in astrology or not, reading your horoscope never hurts. A fun way to read your horoscope is to use different sites and compare them to see what is similar. Learn a little more about yourself, your friend and even your lover.

  12. If you feel anxious, write your thoughts out in a journal. Try bullet journaling, there are a lot of fun templates and ideas to try out on Pinterest.

  13. Plan out your schedule. I am the QUEEN of making lists for literally every single thing. It is a great way to see what is ahead without getting too overwhelmed or forgetting something.

  14. Try out some new recipes. Whether it is cooking or baking. You can use and app called Supercook. All you do is input what you have in your kitchen and it shows you recipes that you can make with the food you already have available.

  15. Have a spa night. Do a face/hair mask and take a bath. Self-care is very important no matter what time of day it is.

  16. WATCH YOUTUBE. Find new YouTubers and binge all their videos. It opens your world up to new people and gives you a glimpse of what others are doing too. Some YouTubers to check out are, Tara Michelle, Loey Lane, Kristen McAtee, Morgan Adams and so many more!
