A quote from the movie Home

“Can I come into the out now?” “No, you cannot come into the out now.” “But I can you are just having to take away the piece of wood.” I am sure we are all feeling this right now. Being cooped up in our homes wishing we could be back in our dorms and enjoying classes in person. This virus took us all by surprise, this wasn’t how I expected my first year living on campus to go. I was looking forward to the last eight weeks of class till summer break. It was even harder cleaning out my dorm room and saying goodbye to Rohlman room 408 that was my home for almost a year. I will cherish the time I spent there, even if the elevator broke down countless times and I had to walk up four flights of stairs to reach my room. I am looking forward to this fall when I can move back on campus for my last year.

I have done not much other than homework in the almost month that I have been home from school now. I am one of the ones that are immune-compromised, so I am staying away from work. Right now it is important that we stay home; keep each other safe. My brother is a paramedic, with an auto-immune disorder. I pray every day he works that he comes back healthy. Please keep our health care workers and their families in your prayers right now. Stay home, don’t go out. For those saying stay six feet apart on your vehicles and hang out. You are at risk, that six feet they tell you is when you are out shopping for the essentials not hanging with your friends in a parking lot. We want the cases to go down so this ends quicker, not last longer than it needs to. Please think of others when going out. If you are sick, stay home, send someone who is not sick to go get groceries you need.

Prayers to everyone out there that you stay safe and healthy during this time. Here is a little bit of sunshine for your day.
