Just because you’re stuck indoors doesn’t mean you can’t virtually escape! Hopefully these activities make you a little less stir-crazy while you #StayAtHome ☺

Watch Travel Documentaries on Netflix.

… or Hulu, HBO, Amazon Prime, etc. There is a never-ending supply of shows and documentaries to take you someplace far away. I recommend watching “Parts Unknown” or “No Reservations” with Anthony Bourdain.

Scroll Through Pinterest.

Look up “travel” on Pinterest and get lost in a sea of aesthetic images. For a bonus, pin them to a “bucket list” board and plan your future adventures for when the travel bans are lifted!

Read a Book Set in an Exotic Location.

Give your eyes a break from looking at screens and pick up a book! Goodreads has a bunch of different lists and recommendations if you need help finding something. I personally loved “Tracks” by Robyn Davidson.

Host Themed Dinners With Your Quarantine Crew.

Pick a country, cook some dishes native to their culture, and become culinary tourists from the safety of your own kitchen!

Download Tinder.

Tinder’s Passport feature is now free for all users until April 30th, so set your location somewhere far away and talk to people you otherwise wouldn’t get the chance to. Who knows, you may find love and end up visiting after!

Safe travels ;)
