By now, everyone is probably very bored in quarantine and looking for new things to do. Luckily, I’ve noticed new things are coming out daily. So, I thought I would share some of my favorites!

Go to a virtual dancing class or concert on Instagram live!

Many professional dancers and musicians are providing content via Instagram Live during this time. For example, one of my favorite tap dancers goes live once a week to teach a tap class, and I’ve really enjoyed taking her classes! But if dance isn’t your thing – lots of musicians are doing mini-concerts on Instagram Live!

Treat yourself with a TV Special night!

There have been many TV specials during this time, and I’m sure there are more to come! Some of my favorites have been FOX’s The iHeart Living Room Concert for America and ABC’s The Disney Family Singalong.

Get yourself a new magazine!

During this time, I think it’s so important to read things that aren’t about the pandemic. Magazines that don’t focus on hard news are still releasing issues, and are a good thing to read to get your mind off of COVID-19. My favorite recent magazine release is InStyle’s beauty issue. InStyle’s beauty issue is always great, and this year I appreciated it more than ever! It also features Lady Gaga, who is one of my favorite artists!

Listen to all the new music coming out!

Many artists have been releasing albums during this time. My favorite one is Niall Horan’s Heartbreak Weather – I’m a big fan of him! There are also many other new albums you can check out!

Check out new shows and movies!

A lot of the streaming sites are releasing content during this time! Netflix released Tiger King, which goes without explanation – pretty much everyone has seen this or knows what it’s about. Disney Plus released Onward (a very cute movie) earlier than planned to give families something to watch during the pandemic. Amazon Prime released the Jonas Brother’s Happiness Continues, which is a follow up to their Happiness Begins documentary. And that’s just to name a few!

I hope this list gives you some ideas of new things you can do to relieve your boredom! Stay safe!
