With everything going on in the world today, for my article I wanted to take a step back and talk about something a little lighter and something that might just make someone’s day a little less grim. So on that note why should you have plants in your dorm room? Or apartment? House? Or even work space? Well the answer to that is really quite simple. There are so many restrictions as to what people can have in their living spaces nowadays and what people can have in their workspaces given that it is dependent on the job, but it makes it hard to fit the restrictions you may have, especially if you can’t have pets. But plants are super beneficial in more ways than just releasing oxygen into the air to help us breathe, as well as they are aesthetically pleasing. Plants will brighten your space up and look good (even if they’re fake).

Some Benefits of Plants Include :

  1. Purify the air by absorbing
  2. Help boost your immune system
  3. Reduce stress
  4. Improve mental heath
  5. Improve productivity
  6. Helps improve relationships
  7. Helps strengthen learning abilities
  8. They also add a little more humidity

So why not just pick up a plant and improve your world a little bit? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
