Ever since I was in the fifth grade I have had very consistent acne on all areas of my face. Now that I am 20 years old, I have finally found products that control my breakouts and help me feel confident in my skin, with the exception of maskne. Dermalogica Clearing Skin Wash
The Clearing Skin Wash is a product in Dermalogica’s Active Clearing line, specifically designed to target breakouts. It’s the first product I purchased and have consistently used for months, and my skin loves it. I use it to wash my face every morning and every night, and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dry like other cleansers do. A little goes a long way; I still haven’t used all 8.4 ounces of the cleanser that I purchased over seven months ago!
Dermalogica Sebum Clearing Masque
I am not exaggerating when I tell you, this mask changed my life! Also a product of their Active Clearing line, this mask drastically reduces the size and redness of any pimple overnight, and you only have to leave it on for ten minutes! I use this product about twice per week, and it’s a game changer.
Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner
This gem is perfect for anyone who just needs a little extra hydration. When it gets cold outside, my skin notices and immediately retaliates by leaving me with dry skin on my cheeks and nose. Just a few sprays of Dermalogica’s Multi-Active Toner in the morning, and I am good to go! I purchased the travel size bottle for just $12 and it has lasted me months!
Dermalogica Retinol Acne Clearing Oil
Since I have been blessed with acne for half of my life, I have been blessed enough to be left with scarring on my cheeks and temples. I have only been using this oil for about six weeks now, and I immediately noticed a difference in my skin’s tone and texture. I have a very rosy complexion, and this oil has drastically evened out the colors of my face. Plus, slowly but surely, my acne scars are lightening up. So while this product may not be for everyone, I had to include it because the benefits are too good!
Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant
The last product I’ve chosen to include – even though there are a few others I’m obsessed with – is Dermalogica’s Daily Microfoliant. At just $15 for the travel size bottle that has lasted me months, this exfoliant is gentle but still takes away any dry or dead skin. Use two to three times per week to keep your skin glowing!
