Now that masks have become the new must-have accessory, why not have some fun styling them? Below are five super cute, fall-themed masks that are sure to keep your spirits up during the holiday season.

If You Like Solid Colors

These simple, solid-color masks from Etsy ($13) are extremely cute and practical. They are reusable, washable, contour-fitted and come in five different colors between chocolate, autumn yellow, olive green, burnt orange and mocha. These masks are also double layered and designed to be a snug fit, so that the one-size-fits-all model can adapt to everyone!

With over 13,000 sales, these masks are definitely one of Etsy’s bestsellers. In fact, I just purchased one of these masks myself — I went for the olive green this time, but I get the sense that I will eventually buy the entire collection. I cannot wait to pair these masks with cozy sweaters, funky coats and boots. I think the olive green will look particularly fantastic with a burnt orange sweater or jacket (Halloween colors are a must). You cannot go wrong with these stylish, simple masks!

If You Like Festive Patterns

Not only does Redbubble sell the cutest stickers for your laptop and water bottle, but it also sells the cutest autumn masks. There are thousands and thousands of styles to choose from, each mask completely unique. Most of the masks begin at just $10 and are easy to breathe in with a good fit and fabric. Redbubble also gives the option to customize some of their masks so that you can make your design personalized.

I highly recommend wearing one of these masks on Halloween, even if you won’t be seeing friends. Wearing a mask that has a pumpkin or candy corn on it will put you in the Halloween spirit for the whole day, and it’ll look extra festive during your virtual Zoom celebrations.

If You’re a Minimalist

At Caraa, you can get a pack of five sturdy and multi-layered masks for just $25! The assorted neutral colors collection is excellent for those crisp fall days, acting as the perfect complement to any outfit. You can quite literally wear any pattern or design, and these masks will match your ‘fit no matter what. IMO, go for a leopard print sweater accented with the linen mask.

These masks are breathable, comfortable, washable and designed for multiple uses. The elastic loops on the masks also come with adjustable toggles to fit the mask perfectly to your face, just as the embedded nose wire fits the mask along to your nose. A filter pocket is also included in the mask (filters sold separately here). And get this: when you buy any pack, Caraa will match your purchase with a donation to relief efforts. We love a company that gives back and looks good doing it.

If You Like Prints

Prints are always in style, so why not pair them with some cozy fall sweaters? Spice up your wardrobe with BaubleBar’s set of three multi masks for just $18.

BaubleBar knows that masks need to be practical and secure, while also being stylish and comfortable. These masks are comfortable enough to wear all day on campus, and if you need to readjust, they’re designed with elastic to change the fit.

If I were to style an outfit with one of these masks, I would say to rock the print with Doc Martens, black jeans, and an edgy sweater. You’ll be the talk of the town.

If You Love All Things Fall

If you’re really looking to get into the fall spirit, I have a set perfect for you. These fall masks from Etsy come in various designs including fall leaves, pumpkins, dandelions, sunflowers and even turkeys. At $12, they are also customizable and adjustable — very high-tech. I think the fall leaves and turkey masks would be great to wear on Thanksgiving. These festive designs are a small joy that can bring you some happiness during the holidays.

Although wearing a mask everywhere may not be ideal, we have to accept that it is the new normal for now. And we can make the most of it by making masks the cutest accessory. So go crazy — buy as many masks as you want, because you’re always better safe than sorry.

Make wearing masks something people feel excited to do, not forced to do. And there’s no better way to start than adding these cute fall masks to your closet!
