It’s that time of year again when people begin to plan the Halloween costumes! It’s always fun to dress up with a group, but it’s not so fun to spend a lot of money doing so. Here are some fun and stylish group costume ideas using items that you might already have that won’t break the bank this Halloween.

Lifeguards

This costume uses what you might already have in your closet, a red tank top and white shorts. It’s simple yet a great way to coordinate with your friends.

Characters from Scream

A 90s classic, this group costume idea takes inspiration from the movie Scream, and is another one that uses items you may already have, like the sweater and white t shirt. The only thing you may have to purchase is the mask, which you should be able to find at a Halloween costume shop.

M&Ms

A quick and easy costume to prepare, all the M&Ms require is a color t-shirt and an iron on M. The great thing about this costume is there is no real limit on how many people can do this group costume, making it great for a large group!

The Plastics from Mean Girls

Dress up like Regina, Gretchen, and Karen this Halloween for the ultimate 2000s look. Using skirts and shirts you may already have, this costume is sure to be “totally fetch”!

Powerpuff Girls

Our last costume on the list, this Powerpuff inspired group costume is perfect for a easy and fun look. For this look, all you need is to have monochromatic looks matching the colors of the cartoon, making it easy to swap and find outfits between the members of your group!
