Lately, I’ve decided to make the switch to all vegan skincare products. I was never one to focus on all-natural products until I realized the harsh chemicals that I was putting onto my body for years now. After trial and error and a whole lot of Youtube reviews, I was able to find products that work for me and are now essential to my skin/body care routine. Take a look at my top five vegan skincare products and possibly decide to make the switch too.

Raw Sugar Body Wash & Body Butter

If you’re interested in a body wash and body butter duo that isn’t overpowering, great on sensitive skin and smells amazing- I’d highly recommend the Raw Sugar line. Raw Sugar’s products are made with plant-derived ingredients and cold-pressed extracts. The body wash leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed without stripping your skin of its natural oils. While the body butter is the perfect moisturizer during the warm and cold months. As a plus, Raw Sugar Living donates a bar of soap to a family in need for each item purchased. Both are placed at an affordable price at Target. Body wash: $9.99 Body butter: $9.99

Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile Soap (peppermint)

Looking for a deep cleanse with a refreshing feel and scent that lingers? Highly recommend Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile soap in peppermint. This liquid soap is 3x more concentrated than most liquid soaps and can be used in multiple ways, not just as a body wash. It’s made with 90% organic ingredients and scented with pure essential oils. One of the best liquid soaps I’ve ever used as a body wash and lasts a decent amount of time. Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile soap is priced at a reasonable price: $10.99

Salt.xo Ultra Skin Balance Toner

As someone who didn’t care to use a toner for years, let me tell you it’s nothing to skip out on, and Salt.xo’s ultra skin balance toner is the perfect one to try out. This water-based toner corrects and balances the PH of your skin, evens skin tone, and controls acne and inflammation. The ultra skin balance toner restores moisture in your skin while the CBD decreases oil production, calms your skin, reduces redness and free-radical damage. Using a toner after cleansing your skin or even as a midday refresher is extremely beneficial and essential to your skincare routine. Salt.xo’s Skin Balance toner is priced at: $17

TheTeeAffect RnC Oil

If you suffer from dark spots and uneven skin tone due to previous acne, The TeeAffect’s RnC oil is the perfect facial serum for you. It’s a rose and chamomile herbal infused facial serum with ingredients like vitamin E, grapeseed oil, sweet almond oil, rosehip oil and jojoba oil. The RnC oil organically clears dark spots and evens skin tone while leaving your skin with a natural glow. As someone with oily skin, I can definitely say this facial serum has not left my skin feeling greasy and I’ve seen an overall improvement since I’ve started using it daily. TheTeeAffect’s RnC oil is reasonably priced at: $14

Making the transition to vegan skincare products was one of the best decisions I ever made. My skin has never looked or felt this good and I can’t wait to add more to my collection. It never hurts to research vegan skincare and see what works for you. I promise you, your skin will thank you later.
