Tired of the Same Old Spooky Songs? Spice Up Your Holiday Playlist With These Not-So-Average Halloween Bops

Halloween is officially upon us! That means that as ~adults~ most of us will not be trick-or-treating, in favor of intimate (COVID-19 safe) gatherings with friends, whether in person or on Zoom. And to host a Halloween gathering, you need three things: candy, costumes and a playlist stacked with Halloween slaps.

I’m going to be honest, here – Monster Mash has gotten old. The classic Halloween songs really just aren’t doing it for me this year, and I know for a fact I’m not alone. It’s 2020 now, so it’s time for a switch-up! I’m sure you’ll play the Mash at least once in the evening, but it’s still time to spruce up your Halloween playlists.

There are plenty of vibey songs that you might not immediately think of for Halloween, but I guarantee with these 20 bops I present to you for consideration and inspiration, you’ll impress all of your friends (and you can even take all the credit – I won’t tell).
