And just like that, Thanksgiving is right around the corner. This year truly went by extremely quickly; making it important to start brainstorming some ideas on how to celebrate the holidays. This year, my friends and I have decided to do Friendsgiving so below you will find some ideas that you can also use if you decided to host a Friendsgiving dinner.

Create a Signature Cocktail

Thanksgiving is known to be one of the biggest drinking days of the year. Because of that creating a signature fall cocktail perfect for Thanksgiving time is a great way to spice up your Friendsgiving dinner. Finding one that you can make alcoholic as well as alcohol-free would be even better so any of your guests can try it out no matter the age or preference.

Set Up Pie Bar

Who doesn’t love pie? Another easy way to decorate your dining room is to incorporate a pie bar. Prior to hosting your Friendsgiving dinner, you can let your guests know to bake whatever pie they want. Once they arrive, they can place it on the cutely decorated table and once everyone arrives you have the cutest pie bar that anyone can help themselves to throughout the night.

Hang Lots of Pictures

Part of the reason why we often decide to have a Friendsgiving dinner is to celebrate your friendships and be thankful for all those individuals that have been a part of your life. After all, these people we choose to surround ourselves with on a day to day basis have helped us shape us into the people we all are today. With that being said, hosting a Friendsgiving dinner can sometimes take some time especially if you want to decorate. An easy way to decorate your dining room is to hang up pictures of you and all your friends around the walls. To make it even more interesting, you could have each individual bring their own pictures. This idea will allow you to look around the room and see all these pictures while enjoying each other’s company.

Finding ways to celebrate the holidays with your loved ones is what the holidays are really all about. Even though we are all living a little differently now with our new normal, that does not mean we should lose sight of how exciting the holiday season can be. With the ideas listed above, I can assure you that your Friendsgiving dinner will be enjoyed by anyone and everyone!
