Have you ever realized how fleeting moments can be? It took me a long time to notice that too. Quarantine has served as a period of great self-growth for me and with it, came a lot of reflections. Reflections on what was serving me and what wasn’t. What made sense and what didn’t anymore.

It wasn’t easy to reach that conclusion, but it was necessary. That’s how I learned to let go of the past and traumas, including experiences that brought me embarrassment to this day. Finally, I learned that living in the present is our best bet because we can’t change the past. However, if we take action now, we can change our future. And so we should.

For that reason, we should value what we have and receive now, so we don’t take it for granted. Same goes for people. Love, help, respect and be proud of those whom you care about when they’re next to you. You never know when you might have to part.

Moments are a big part of who we are and they should be remembered well as they lay the foundation for your life. Repeating patterns are there for a reason, teaching us lessons just like how people come and go from our lives. Second chances are given for us to learn from our mistakes and write our wrongs. Don’t let these opportunities pass.

However, the most important lesson that quarantine has taught me is that we should live our lives more lightly. Allowing ourselves to get in touch with our emotions and to do things intensively while having some sort of balance, of course. Laugh, cry, get angry, dance, scream. Do whatever helps you let out what’s consuming you if you will.

Don’t be afraid to be vulnerable and to love with all of your heart. With all of you. Remember that you shouldn’t be the unconditional giver or receiver, but with balance, you can live a love-filled life. When I say love, I mean any kind of love, okay? As there are many kinds.

Learn to be grateful for everything and everyone in your life. Be grateful to life itself. Just be grateful! What do you guys say? Can we just enjoy the little moments and live life more fully?
