There are many different sides of the popular social media app, TikTok but none are more fit for the spooky season than WitchTok. Unlike in movies and shows these witches don’t wear pointy hats or ride broomsticks. Most of them are just regular girls who came across the craft and did their research on spellcasting and readings. Their videos feature tarot card readings, storytimes about spirits and explanations about the power of crystals.

Witches are often portrayed as scary but the WitchTok community is a positive space full of witches hoping to educate their watchers and provide a sanctuary for other practicing witches. Members of the community are often “mutuals” hoping to find others that lead their same lifestyle.

Witchcraft is a serious ordeal, filled with healing and hexing. The videos are equally educational and entertaining for watchers whether they participate in the craft or not. Below are 5 #WitchTok videos that give watchers insight into the world of witches.
