Saying that I love to shop is an understatement. It is one of my favourite hobbies and I depend on retail therapy as a stress reliever. With COVID-19, one positive thing I’ve discovered is that there are a lot of online boutiques that are both small bussiness and local. This is a list of my favourite boutiques that I have discovered since quarantine.

This is one of my favourite boutiques because it satisfies both my love for shopping and my love for Harry Potter. This boutique makes affordable Harry Potter minimalist clothing that showcase the different aspects and quotes of the universe. I ordered the “Brave Tee” from this website and am waiting with a cartful to order more.

I came across Made by Mary on another Her Campus article and loved the site immediately. The company makes simple yet personalized jewelry. I ordered a necklace from them and was impressed with the quality, packaging and speedy shipping of the package. I am constantly browsing their website looking at the earrings, bracelets and rings that are available.

Darling Authority is a boutique that I found off TikTok. It is run by a girl who designs her own clothes, manages the website design, photographs the clothes, and packages and ships all the orders herself! The boutique portrays a very trendy theme with their clothes, and has everything from casual wear, to party wear, to accessories. My favourite thing about this boutique is how they offer an option to order a mystery package where you get an outfit with accessories sent to you as a surprise.

This is another boutique I found off of TikTok and they make jewelry incorporating Indian styles that can be worn with Western clothing and Indian clothing. Knowing the quality and prices of this type of jewelry is something I know well, and this is why I was impressed with both when it came to this company. I was excited about their newest launch, but when I picked out what I wanted they were all sold out. Products from this boutique would also be something I think would make an excellent present. I will be patiently waiting for them to restock so I can purchase some of my favourites.
I know that, like me, many are sad that they cannot go to the mall to shop, but I have realized that smaller online boutiques have so much more to offer. I find pride in discovering unique items and supporting small businesses when I shop, and I think these are all stores you should check out too. Happy Shopping!
