With the holidays right around the corner, I decided to make this wriring about my three favorites times of the year! I have always loved the holidays for various of reasons. Read on to help spread the holiday cheer!
p.s- HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! gobble gobble
- CHRISTMAS
-
SANTA IS COMING!!! Christmas has always been my number one favorite holiday. It is obvious why I enjoyed it as a kid, but things are different now that I am older. Now, it is the giving that makes this holiday so special. Not only do I love the decorations, but I love showing appreciation and making others in my family or my closest friends smile. Even though my bank account is crying, it is WELL worth the happiness. To add on to this, WHO DOESNT LOVE THE DECORATIONS!?!? Christmas is a holiday that is meant for everyone to celebrate. It is filled with family traditions, candy canes or chocolate, the beautiful snow (which obviously is followed by hot cocoa and marshmellows), and gitfts for all. Better watch out, Santa is watching!
- THANKSGIVING
-
THANKS + GIVING = Thanksgiving.
I am always grateful and appreciative for everything that people do for me, even if I do not say it enough. I love this holiday because it is another excuse to share the love and give thanks for everything that has happened in your life. I think the cheesy “go around the table and say what you’re most thankful for” is my favorite part, even over the MOUNDS of food! Plus, any excuse to make memories in the kitchen and get dressed up is a win-win for me! (p.s. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!)
- VALENTINES DAY
-
A lot of people overlook Valentines Day as something that can only be celebrated if you have a significant other. In my opinion, I completely disagree. Valentines Day is a day to spoil those who you love and to show love for your family, friends, or anyone. I do not think there is a label that it needs to be romantic, I just feel like people make it be that way. This special day made my top 3 list because it proves (to me) that you can be loved by anyone and you can be happy. Love is such a strong word but there are so many people in my life who I can personally say I love. Seeing my friends or family smile is what makes me smile.
I hope you are in the holiday spirit because they are coming by quickly! What are your favorite holidays?
