For years my friends tirelessly tried to get me to watch the Bachelorette (and the Bachelor). And for years I refused to watch what I perceived to be a tacky show. Finally while hanging out with some friends one night they convinced me to watch an episode. It was Becca Kufrin’s season.

I was hooked immediately on the plot. But what I hated about the show was how long the episode lasted. Two hours in my opinion is way too long. My friends begged me to keep watching the season so we could all discuss the episodes the next day, but I could not justify wasting two hours on the drama.

One of my friends suggested I watch Roses and Rosé on YouTube. Roses and Rosé is a series on YouTube where Lauren Zima, a reporter for Entertainment Tonight, recaps each episode of the Bachelorette. In each twenty-minute episode, Lauren recounts the most important and dramatic events of each episode.

Each week I can’t wait for ET to post Rose and Rosé! I don’t have to waste two hours watching the full episode, but I still am able to talk to my friends about all the drama.

With that being said, of course I have been watching Lauren’s updates on this season of the Bachelorette. So many people have said that Clare has been the worst bachelorette in the show’s history. While I’m not justified enough to make that determination, I can say she definitely took an unconventional approach to finding her perfect man.

Tayshia has been doing an amazing job since taking over the season. She seems to be trying her best to really get to know all of the guys. I hope she finds the right guy for her.

If you’re a fan of the Bachelorette and the Bachelor, I would definitely recommend checking out Roses and Rosé! Lauren Zima is absolutely wonderful and so great at her job.
