I am very new to the candle collecting trend that has started a long time ago, but I am at a stage where I have the itch to smell every candle I see in stores and have to fight the urge to buy one every time. Bath and Body Works and Yankee Candle are arguably two of the most popular candle-selling stores, and I am very guilty of spending most of my earnings on candles to add to my collection. Besides recently having gotten into candles, I have also gotten into a habit of finding small businesses to replace the usual stores I shop at. Candles, soaps, and jewelry might be the easiest items to buy from a small business instead of a chain store. I have listed small businesses that sell candles at a good price, smell heavenly, and could use some help in this pandemic.

This small business sells candles that are based on fandoms, making them a great personal gift to friends and family. Fandoms range from Star Wars and Harry Potter to Avatar the Last Airbender, and more. This shop also sells unique scents such as mango milkshake, tres leches, glazed donuts, and many other scents based on pop culture. With candles that are based on some of my favorite fandoms and have scents that make me feel more connected to the movie or book series, it is very difficult to not spend all my money at this Etsy shop.

I like these candles because they come in in metal tins and use wooden wicks instead of cotton wicks for burning. Wooden wicks are better for candles because they create a horizontal flame that throws the scent into a room quicker while burning the candle slower and more evenly. The metal tins are also very decorative and have cute puns on the top based on their scents. Even though this shop does not have very unique scents, they have a diverse set that can match with every individual’s preference.

These candles are just like MysteriesofMayhem where they base their scents on pop culture and fandoms (Harry Potter, Disney, etc.). They have beautiful packaging and unique scents, such as hot spiced tea, orange chiffon cake, tropical islands, and even more amazing scents.

Even though these candles might not be the most decorative, they have their own appeal with their simplicity and great scent choices. It is a great deal when it comes to candles, less than seven dollars for eight ounces. The reviews rave about the huge range of scents, and the shop has a large amount of returning customers.
