I am going to call it right now that the next big trend is going to be hair perfumes. I have been using hair perfumes for five years now after watching one of my favorite beauty bloggers rave about them. It is very common for perfume users to spritz some in their hair just to make their hair smell good, but that is extremely damaging to one’s hair. Regular perfume contains alcohol, which in contact with hair is very drying and if used too much, hair strands will start breaking. The easy solution is to invest in a hair perfume, they work miracles on my hair and I always get compliments whenever I have them on. Hair perfume not only lasts longer, but a lot of them contain ingredients that are great for hair growth, shine, and softness. Even though I know that many perfume users only stick to one perfume, I have listed popular options and personal favorites below. Hopefully this list will help you find at least one hair perfume that you would like to try and add to your daily routine.

Tocca Hair Fragrance

Tocca was the first hair perfume I have ever been introduced to, and after I tried them I was instantly addicted. Though their hair perfume does not have a lot of scents, the five scents they have are all very whimsical-smelling and I hope in the future they will branch out and release more, my favorite scent from them is called “Stella” which has notes of blood orange and spicy lily, though I recommend having a look at all of them. They have beautiful, almost-vintage packaging, so when I use the perfume, the packaging and scent makes me feel like a princess in a cottage. These 50 mL bottles are thirty-four dollars, but last a long time and contain a lot of beneficial oils for the hair.

Herbivore Hair Perfume Mist

I included Herbivore in this list because hair perfumes can be expensive and Herbivore hair perfumes come at the great price of twelve dollars for a 60 mL bottle. They have three scents: Jasmine, Rose, and Apricot, each of them a very light scent and very refreshing. These are my recommendations if you are new to hair perfume and want to try a couple of new scents without breaking the bank.

Etsy Shop: Sugamommy

This Etsy shop sells homemade hair perfumes that contain aloe, marshmallow root, silk protein, and a lot more beneficial ingredients for the hair. They also have a lot of scents, but their most popular one is “Milk and Honey” which comes in a 2 oz bottle for $8.95. These hair perfumes are very popular on etsy, you get to support a small business, and I would recommend looking at their huge list of options to pick the one that catches your eye the most.

There are a lot of hair perfumes on the market, ranging in price, scents, beneficial ingredients. Hair perfumes are such a new trend that I see becoming very popular. I would recommend testing one out to see what the hype will be about.
